Maintenance and maintenance
1. Infiltration system inspection
1.1 Check that the 5UM security filter serves to protect the use of high pressure pumps and reverse osmosis membrane elements.
1.2 Rinse lines, including jellyfish tubes, before connecting the reverse osmosis components to the pipeline.
C). Before the RO device is activated, record the serial number of each pressure vessel in the first and second paragraphs of each RO and the serial number of the membrane element to be installed. Draw a figure showing the position on the frame of each pressure vessel..
D). Check whether the reverse osmosis pressure gauge, flow gauge and conductivity are installed correctly.
E). Ensure representative sampling points for water supply, a section of concentrated water, drainage, a section and a section of product water and the total product water.
F). A pressure release protection device should be installed if a cut-off valve is installed in the water pipe of the product.
G). Make sure the RO high-pressure pump is ready to run immediately and check the pump's rotation and lubrication.
H). Check that the pipeline of the reverse osmosis pressure vessel is correctly connected(normal operation and cleaning operation).
I). Ensure that all pipelines are embalmed.
J). Check that the first paragraph of the water supply, product water and concentrated water and the mixed product water are equipped with sampling devices.
K). Review the suitability of all pipes to pressure and PH values in the system.
L). Verify that the parts of the pump that come into contact with the liquid level are made of antiseptic material.
M). Check that all instruments have been calibrated to ensure proper operation and accurate monitoring of the reverse osmosis system.
N). Check interlocks, alarms, safety nets, and Ting Shi relays have been correctly identified.
O). Check pipe parts, pressure vessels should be tight and not leaking.
P). Check that the product water line is indeed open, and there is no pressure on the product water side when the system is not pressurized.
Q). To ensure that the concentrated flow control valve is in an open position, manual identification of the opening may be required.
R). Check the water flow to the drain.
S). Ensure that the throttle control valve of the pump is opened so that the initial water supply pressure is less than 50 % of the operating pressure.
T). The pressure of the product water shall never exceed the specified value of the pressure of the water supply or concentrated water, and the composite membrane element is generally 34.5 KPa(5 psi)(according to the film manufacturer's regulations).
U). Check that the U-shaped bolts of the reverse osmosis / pressure vessel fixed to the frame are not too tightly screwed, otherwise the FRP case will be warped.
1.2 Operation of RO system
For surface water sources, the pretreatment system must have been commissioned and tested before the initial start of the RO device. The quality of the water discharged can meet the requirements of the RO device operation. The preposition of the original water should include sterilization, condensation, clarification, and filtration. It is very important that the chemicals added to the pretreatment process must be compatible with the chemicals added to the RO system. For example, the inclusion of certain cationic polyelectrolytes in the condensation process is very effective. However, the addition(NaPO3) to the RO system will reflect the formation of precipitation and seriously pollute the RO membrane. Therefore, the turbidity of the water after secondary filtration should not be less than 0.2 NTU, and the SDI value must be less than 5. The pre-treatment system must work properly before water is fed into the RO system, and the water quality of the water supply must meet the RO water supply requirements. The specific operation is as follows.
A). Drive the air out of the system at low pressure.
B). Check and eliminate system leakage.
C). To discharge the protective fluid of a membrane element from a osmotic(discharge valve for open water) with low pressure water.
D). Drain product water to the trench.
E). Open the concentrated water relief valve.
F). The opening of the throttle valve at the outlet of the high pressure pump is adjusted to 50 % of the initial pressure.
G). Start high pressure pump to flush until flush.
H). Disable the discharge valve of concentrated water, adjust the relief valve of concentrated water, adjust the throttle valve of the outlet of the water pump, open the outlet valve of the product, and close the discharge valve of the product water until the designed product water flow rate and system recovery rate are reached.
I). Test run 72 hours.
J). Make operational records, including lists of test instruments and medicines; Test method: pretreatment system; Raw water heating; Automatic control; Agglomeration beaker test; Chlorine addition test; Ductile turbidity determination, SDI determination.
